NorthWest: “Sun” is our brainchild and so it’s difficult for us to find the proper words to describe it. Maybe is a chant for something unattainable; maybe it’s just another song. However, we want to share it with you in the hope that you get your own meaning out of it.”
“Sun” is an atmospheric, spectral track with vocals that make you feel unearthly chills, and piano chords that evoke alluvial warmth at the same time. It has the aerial quality of Knower‘s “That’s Where You Are”, only, still, just a bit less sunny: I guess we will have to wait a bit more for those rays this year. It’s a wonderful follow-up for “Wind” and I will definitely try to see them in Amsterdam!
