Somewhere in May I sent a nice little cover of Oh Patti by Scritti Politti to a friend who said: “So… a Scritti-tribute album curated by Estella Rosa?” It got me thinking and the next day we were all planning this cover-compilation on the Sophistipop Lounge group on Facebook!
It is October now and from the 15 tracks that were scheduled, only 3 dropped out. The result is here, nearly 6 months later: 12 great, and diverse interpretations of some of our beloved Sophistipop classics!
I can’t thank people that participated enough!! Also want to thank all the group members for their continuous support and Greg Wilson from DecayFM shoegaze radiofor “mastering” the compilation.
