Estonian dream-poppers Pia Fraus are revealing their 2nd single from the new album on 11th of November.
Pia Fraus are Eve Komp, Kärt Ojavee, Rein Fuks, Reijo Tagapere, Joosep Volk. They formed in 1998 and released 5 albums and a handful of EP’s to date and, after a period of relative silence, the band seems to be full-on active again, sounding very much like themselves ( breezy vocals layered over a mixture of the dreamiest of dream-pop and subtle shoegaze) but slightly more seasoned and up-to-date.
Single is “Hidden Parks, is the perfect soundtrack to a crisp autumn day with a scintillating low sun. It’s a translucent soundscape soaring somewhere in northern skies. This sheer, tempered zephyr of a song is released on all digital platforms with 4 extra remixes made by the likes of Vanishing Twin, Picnic, Wolfredt, and Erko Niit. Pia Fraus “Hidden Parks” is produced and mixed by John McEntire (Tortoise, The Sea and Cake) at Soma Electronic Music Studios, and mastered by Lauri Liivak.
